At Haneda, bought GBP 300 cash. Felt dizzy when arrived at Honkong Airport, as pasting Nicotinel Pad forgotten. Lost coincase in the plane. Foods served in the plane was very good.

May 16 (Thu)  Arrived at Harpenden

Flew from Honkong to Heathrow by CX255 (23:15→06:20)..

Took Airport Bus Route 724 to St Albans (9:33→11:33).

Driven by Simon Ross-Murphy to Harpenden

The Silver Cup.

At Heathrow Airport, arrived at Terminal 3. For the sim-free mobile phone, Motorola g13, bought and installed a SIM-card at "SIM Local" phone shop. Successfully contacted Simon Ross-Murphy. It was raining. The Bus ran smoothly. Picked up by Simon at the Albans Bus Stop at the train station and driven to The Silver Cup Inn. The room was on the second floor (level 3) with no lift. After a short rest, went to Simon's House, met Karolyn and had a tea. At the hotel, lay down on the bed but could not sleep. Ate foods with tea and milk presented by Karolyn. The Silver Cup was a terrible hotel, as in my comments sent to the Agoda's page, as: "Not a Bed & Breakfast! I had thought it was a B & B but it wasn't. You have to provide food and drinks yourself for your breakfast. Even worse than that is that no staff stays in the inn from 11pm to 9am. In case of emergency, you need to call the police yourself, You must call a taxi yourself when necessary."

The rain stopped. Walked to the station. The British Rail was not as bad as Simon criticized and delayed only up to ten minutes. In London, went around the spots as planned, except the Banksy's Girl with a Balloon behind the National Theatre at Southwark which was said to have been removed a couple months ago, according to a passer-by, graphic designer, who talked to me in Japanese. Besides the Green Park Station, I thought fossils could be found in many constructions but it wan not, unlike in Japan where a lot of Italian marble were imported. Lunch at Crazy Pizza with a side menu and bottled drink was a little too heavy. At Harrods, bought a coin case for the bulky British coins. At Liberty, bought some tote bags for souvenir.
