Temple Church, Bristol. The destroyed Chancel and the Bell Tower.

Temple Church, Bristol. The Bell Tower which withstood the German air raid during the World War II was leant.
A legend says that the leaning was recognized shortly after the start of construction but the work was continued, as the adjustment was impossible, and the top section was added without pediment to keep the weight of the roof as light as possible.
